The year was 1986. Club unknown. Johnny(l) and Rodney. Two of my friends from Rockrose that were military bound. Neither thought as they were embarking on adulthood that decades would past without either being in the same space.

Johnny and I were stationed across the street from each other. I was at Ft. Dix and he was at McGuire Air Force Base. Two kids from Rockrose grow up, join the military and be stationed across the street from each other. They eventually combine both bases to become Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Base. That was the last time I have seen Johnny because he was being reassigned to England and I was headed to Germany.
